Everyball LTA Tennis Leaders Award
Want to get into tennis coaching, develop new skills or support your local tennis venue?
The LTA Everyball Tennis Leaders Award is aimed at 11-18 year-olds and is the first step on the tennis and sport career path for volunteering and paid employment.
The Award will cover 3 modules and will run from 10am - 3pm.
Module 1: "Introduction to tennis"
Learn the basics of tennis and understand how variations of the game are used to introduce all ages and abilities to the sport. Learn communication and organisational skills and some key on-court drills
Module 2: "Leading a practice session"
Understand the structure of a practice hitting session, learn about the different types of feeding, and the responsibilities of a practice hitter.
Module 3: "Helping at a competition"
Learn how to score and umpire a mini tennis match, how to organise a round-robin competition and how you can support your competition organiser or referee
